Michael Lee

This is a painting from a photograph I took of my lovely wife in the Okefenokee Swamp. This photo was snapped just minutes before I almost lost my life. While I grew up on boats, Shelly on the other hand had no idea how to navigate the boat. This became apparent when she ran the boat onto the bank while an alligator was sunning himself. Both the alligator and I were startled. I think I had more to lose than the alligator.
